Value Of Warfare To The Roman Empire
The power of warfare allowed Ancient Rome to expand and conquer new territories, which in turn enriched their society. New transport and trade routes were discovered and opened up. The strength of the army was what made the Roman Empire so powerful and allowed them to rule for around 500 years.
